We have the knowledge to assess what kind of investor you are, and create a complete and flexible plan based on your needs.
Segregated Funds
Segregated funds are investments held within an insurance contract. Although they are similar to mutual funds, they have some additional benefits including:
Estate Settlement – They can assure that your beneficiary receives death benefits without the hassle and expense of the probate process.
Potential Creditor Protection – As they are held within an insurance contract, segregated funds can be protected against creditors or seizures in the event of bankruptcy.
Guarantees – Depending on the selected plan, segregated funds can guarantee 75% to 100% of the premiums paid in the event of death or contract maturity.
Registered Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP)
Starting and adding to a RRSP is a fundamental part of your overall financial plan. Not only do RRSPs provide you with tax deductibles, they also secure a worry free financial future.
Non-Registered
Although non-registered investments include taxable gains, they have a few advantages over registered investments, including:
Less restrictions
Flexible withdrawals
Funds that can be used as collateral
Tax deductible interest on funds borrowed for investment
Often times, a structure of both registered and non-registered investments is combined to create the most efficient gain results.
